About the Journal

Focus and Scope

Spanish Labour Law and Employment Relations Journal (SLLERJ) comes out every six months and is available in electronic format. In addition to these two annual issues, we may publish incidental special issues. SLLERJ provides comment and in-depth analysis on a wide range of topics relating to labour law, employment law, industrial relations and social security.

Peer Review Process

Academic articles that are submitted are subjected to a double blind peer review. Referees remain anonymous to the author during the review procedure and the author's name is removed from the manuscript being reviewed.

Each article is first assessed by two of the editors of the editorial board and, if it is judged suitable for SLLERJ, it is sent to two referees for a double blind peer review. Based on the recommendations of the reviewers, the editors then decide whether the paper should be accepted as it is, revised or rejected. In case of revisions, a final decision on publication will be made after resubmission. If there is no agreement on the part of the editors, one of the editors-in-chief will make the final decision.
