Resumen

I contatti tra Celti e mondo greco, in Età Ellenistica, hanno assunto una molteplicità di forme: aldilà delle sporadiche invasioni e razzie, più spesso queste popolazioni commerciavano e collaboravano in maniera pacifica con gli stati greco-macedoni, talvolta riuscendo anche ad integrarsi nella loro società. Ad esempio, molti di loro, attraverso il mercenariato, riuscivano ad ottenere dei lotti di terra in cui insediarsi, a fine carriera. Se, per quanto riguarda i regni dell’Oriente ellenistico, sono state trovate testimonianze della presenza di coloni militari celtici nei loro territori, lo stesso non si può dire della Macedonia antigonide, dove le prove scarseggiano. Questo studio cerca di delineare tre possibili casi in cui dei mercenari gallici potrebbero essere stati insediati come cleruchi, dai sovrani macedoni, in territorio greco.
