De dioses y guerras
Keywords:
Henotheism, evocatio, Good Fortune’s theodicyAbstract
In this presentation for the volume we explore several ways for the treatment of the subject: the relationship between gods and wars in different context of the Ancient World. Humans, as agents in these relationships, elaborate ways of sublimation and understanding the divine implication in their war avatars. The reason is based on the fact that only the divine support can drive them to the victory. Our paramount perspective runs from some specific Near Eastern situations to the Roman imperial henotheism, including the use of technai to reach the divine accord.Downloads
