Abstract

This article deals with the Judgment of the European Court of Justice of 25 January 2018, Maximilian Schrems v. Facebook Ireland Limited, related to the status as a “consumer” of the user of a private Facebook account, in the field of Section 4 (Jurisdiction over consumer contracts) of Regulation (EU) 1215/2012 and Regulation (EC) 44/2001.
