Although Spanish and Portuguese regulations about the sale of consumer goods comply with the Directive 1999/44/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 May 1999 on certain aspects of the sale of consumer goods and associated guarantees, they differ on several issues. This paper tries to emphasize the discrepancies between the rules of these Member States and link the regulation about the sale of consumer goods in the Iberian context with the Draft Common Frame of Reference and the recent Directives EU 2019/770 y 2019/771, especially with the last one.
