This paper deals with the Spanish Supreme Court judgment STS of 30 October 2024 and the solutions that the Court offers on different key points of European and Spanish private international law. It thus analyzes the effectiveness of tacit submission to Spanish courts in international litigation, the impossibility of applying Spanish substantive rules to time-sharing contracts governed by foreign law and the correct method to prove a foreign law applicable to those contracts.
