Una reflexión sobre género y ayuda humanitaria en el marco de un proyecto de emergencia

Abstract

This article discusses the concepts of gender and humanitarian aid under an specific emergency project in the city of Cartagena de Indias in Colombia. In this context, issues such as a medical model and social intervention model fragments the body of poor women emerge as a system of knowledge and power and at the same time, their bodies abused, excluded, fragmented, emerge as individual and cultural experiences collective.
