Abstract

The wages and prices evolution show us the economic and social conditions in the 20th century. The gender gap and the skill premium are a good start to understand the social conditions from the I World War to the Great Depression. At a first approach, the gender gap was not only a wages issue. The inequality was out of the official records. For example, limited access to upper positions or more work hours.
