An approach to the methodological and ideological elements of Gregorio Peces-Barba's thought

This article approaches several of the methodological and ideological elements present in the work of Professor Gregorio Peces-Barba, relating them to some lines of his thought, to reflect their contribution and influence from certain contexts. This especially aimed at new students who wish to have a first contact with them thought. The topics presented are grouped around the use of historical reason, the secularized anthropocentrism, and the discourse on capabilities. Also, around the influence of modernity and the enlightenment, of community personalism and socialism democratic, in addition to the republican tradition
