In relation to the human rights of women and with the aim of achieving more just, peaceful, and inclusive societies, access to justice, equality, and peace are presented as important goals in the 2030 Agenda on Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) of the United Nations. In order to achieve these objectives and to avoid the discrimination that women still suffer in the enjoyment of their rights in armed conflicts with the use of traditional methods of justice, mediation is presented as the ideal method for them to show their knowledge and skills and to build, together with men, a more harmonious and peaceful coexistence.
