In defense of Law’s dignity

The author retraces the critical experience of Spanish juridical system at the present time. While the impact of economic and political crisis affects confidence in institutions, the dysfunctions of the system remain unnoticed. Due to the author’s large experience as judge and scholar, he hints to face up to the problems that discredit lawmakers and tribunals. It is necessary to promote the value of legislation and law. The last one is the essential norm to restore confidence in democratic regime in accordance with the constitution. Finally he defends the dignity of the Spanish judicial branch and suggests coping with ancient evils.
