Abstract

This paper gives a brief overview of the enforced disappearance in the international legal framework and its definition as an international wrongful act. To this end, the study will focus on describing the main international legal instruments regulating the enforced disappearance. Moreover, the essential conceptual elements of this crime will be explained.
