Abstract

This article examines the impact of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights jurisprudence in the Colombian legal system through two elements. The first one is the legal status of the Inter-American Court’s jurisprudence granted by the Colombian law. The second one is the advances and setbacks of the effective implementation of that case law, shown in two representative cases.
