Abstract

The European Court of Human Rights has managed to reach relevant dimensions in the protection of Human Rights. In this task the doctrine of the margin of appreciation has been of great importance and thus its use has crossed the Atlantic and begun to be implemented within the jurisprudence of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights.
