Abstract

Relationship between corruption and human rights can be intuitively obvious: human rights try to limit power and corruption is an abuse of power. However, the investigation of such relationship is relatively recent. It is important to know how human rights movement and the agenda against corruption can be linked and mutually enriched. Particularly, it is interesting to see how human rights international legal systems can be useful in the fight against corruption. Inter-American Court of Human Rights has become a regional international legal field auspicious to explore the possibilities to fight against corruption from individual cases of human rights violation through the link of structural corruption.<
