Abstract

This work addresses the concept, main characteristics and scope of the right to a trial without undue delay or the right to a trial within a reasonable time taking into account the jurisprudence of the European Court of Human Rights and the Spanish Constitutional Court. It also presents an overview of the ways and problems, which presents the repair of the right to trial without undue delay; in particular, we briefly explain the incidence of undue delays in criminal proceedings
