Abstract

Based on experience, this paper proposes a critical perspective on syllabus for legal studies. There is an excessive preponderance of the universities in setting their contents with slight participation of different legal professions’ representatives, as well as of the public administrations. Likewise, there is an unbalanced growth of the teaching staff and an unsatisfactory expansion of double degrees. Finally, it raises some issues such as the orientation of master's degrees, the influence of new technologies and the internationalization of law, concluding with some methodological considerations on teaching the law.
