Women and Covid

Abstract

 Women, in the 21st century continue to have a majority presence in so-called “care jobs”, both paid and unpaid, which has placed them in the forefront of the risk of contagion in times of coronavirus, a situation that has clearly influenced their chances of keeping and keeping a job, at the same time that it has given rise to new labor disputes previously unknown. In this paper, a detailed tour is made of the different practical aspects, directly or indirectly related to the labor market, in which the global pandemic has affected women more intensely than men.
