This article presents an analysis of the orthographic tendencies specific to the enlightened nun, M.ª Francisca Ric y Pueyo (1746–1819). Following a brief biographical section introducing this figure and the corpus under study, the paper details the main features observed in the vowels, consonants, capitalization, accentuation, punctuation, and use of abbreviations found in the analyzed 18th-century female-authored letters. This study highlights the main peculiarities of the graphic conventions employed by this 18th-century woman.
