From Film to Television: Towards a Genealogy of Women Scriptwriters in Spain

Abstract

This paper aims to deepen the understanding of the work carried out by professional women in Spanish media focusing on the figure of the woman scriptwriter. We want to propose that in the research on women creators the experts have paid more attention to the work of women in the field of filmmaking, where the presence of women is scarce compared to other areas like screenwriting and particularly television screenwriting.
