Many obstacles remain to achieve full equality between women and men. For the time being, it can be said that there are very few professional areas in which any direct or indirect form of discrimination based on gender has been eliminated. Paradoxically, in the academic context, despite the numerous efforts made in this regard, there are still certain forms of discrimination based on gender that affect both, teachers and students, and that, as the statistics are dealt with each year of confirmation, manifest themselves special strength with regard to those people who take care of family responsibilities. These factors of inequality are analyzed individually in this paper, at the same time that possible solutions are proposed that would help to mitigate the problem.Downloads
