Como en todas las guerras fueron los niños los más perjudicados. Algunos hallaron refugio en las colonias infantiles que para tal fin acondicionó el Gobierno de la República. Los más, de la mano de sus padres, sufrirían años de hambre, frío, exilio y en ocasiones la muerte.</p> <p class="Default"><strong>Palabras clave</strong>: represión, franquismo, violencia, exilio, colonias, infancia.</p> <p class="Default"><strong>Abstract: </strong>The greatest exile in Spanish history began the 18th of July 1936 when part of the army uprose against the Spanish Republican Government. Thousands of citizens abandoned their houses and belongings running away from barbarity and death leaving behind to whom, less fortunate, could not escape on time. Like in every war, children were the most harmed. Some of them found shelter in the childish colonies provided by the Republican Government.
