The actions of the Labour and Social Security Inspectorate must be guided by the principle of effectiveness, but also by respect for the fundamental rights of those under investigation. Currently, both objectives are affected by risks and controversies that require resolution; therefore, this analysis seeks to reflect on and formulate proposals regarding these open issues surrounding inspection activity.
