The development of data protection regulations is increasing its interactions with the collective action developed by staff representation. In this context, we analyze, on the one hand, its role as guarantor of the integrity of the right to data protection and, on the other hand, and above all, the conflicts that arise
in relation to the exercise of its powers. On the latter point, the limitations that may exist on access to personal data by representative organizations and the restrictions on their subsequent use are analyzed.
