The international regime of global agricultural trade as a facilitator of sustained, sustainable and inclusive economic growth in four Iberoamerican countries. Comparative study

Abstract

This article is aimed at analyzing whether the international regime of global trade in agriculture has contributed to Argentina, Brazil, Chili and Uruguay’s more inclusive economic growth, based on reducing the levels of economic inequality and poverty. It seeks to ¿describe? whether trade liberalization has led to the reduction of poverty levels in the four countries, even though it has not had much impact on lowering economic inequality.
