This study examines the Alliance of Anti-Fascist Intellectuals for the Defense of Culture (AIDC) in Spain from the perspective of its members and the essential elements of its discourse in support of the anti-fascist cause. It also analyzes how this organization inspired the creation of the Alliance of Intellectuals of Chile (AICH). The research highlights how the propaganda developed by the Spanish organization provided an ideological and conceptual framework that was applied by the intellectual sector in Chile to address domestic issues. Furthermore, the Spanish wartime experience was fundamental in mobilizing intellectuals in Chile and fostering their commitment to the anti-fascist cause.
