Escribir la guerra. El trazo y la tachadura

Abstract

Resumen: La literatura sobre la Primera Guerra Mundial se debatió en torno al problema del testimonio, arrastrada por la crueldad de la contienda y la implicación, nunca vista antes, del conjunto de la población. Pero el testimonio, como lo testimoniado, plantea varias caras, varias posibilidades. El artículo defiende que no hay literatura sin literatura anterior y muestra cómo los tópicos condicionan los relatos de los testigos más directos.

Abstract: The literature on the First World War was debated because there was an issue with testimony extracted using the cruelty of the war, and for the first time ever involving the whole population. But as witnessed, this testimony has several facades and several possibilities. This article argues that there is no literature without prior literature and shows how topics determine the stories of the eyewitnesses.
