Resumen: Se ofrece en este trabajo una aproximación a diferen­tes aspectos relativos a la fundación de colonia Au­gusta Firma (Écija - Sevilla) y su identificación como ciudad del poder.

Abstract: The purpose of this research paper is to un­derstand how and why colonia Augusta Firma (Ecija, Seville) was founded and identified as a “city of power”.
