This paper analyses epigraphic sources with the aim of studying the role of public and imperial slaves as worshippers in Hispania. Through these sources, the analysis bears on the status of slaves, the means and ends of their cult practices and their gods. Finally, the testimonies of the collegia of Spanish public slaves are studied, in the light of the essential religious side of these collegia.
