Women and pension system in Chile

This paper analyzes the relations of oppression, in the terms of IM YOUNG, which are generated from the main provisions of the Chilean Pension System established by Decreto Ley 3.500, of 1980 and Ley N° 20.255 of 2008 are based on gender stereotypes it produces serious consequences for women in the matter of pensions by not addressing the structures that assign women certain tasks in society, impacting the amount of their pension and subjecting them to conditions of greater vulnerability in relation to with men.
