Disability and the media in Ecuador: a relationship based on human rights

This article refers to the central role played by the media in society. In this context, it is necessary that they offer an adequate perception and attached to reality, which involves addressing disability and the rights of people in that condition. This work mainly does a bibliographic survey that accounts for the trends, strengths and challenges of the media content. The reading of this work becomes enriching for those who want to approach the study of disability and the media as a matter of human rights, which in turn will allow this article to be much closer to the Ecuadorian reality.Downloads
