Abstract
In this work we aim to examine the different elements that make up the attire of the goddess Iuno Sospita, which presents a very peculiar iconography. The goal is to analyse each of the attributes that comprise her image and use them as tools of interpretation that will allow us to delve into the true nature of the Lanuvian deity, an issue that generates great controversy. Finally, we aspire to reflect on the polysemic nature of these visual representation codes which can incorporate changing meanings in tune with historical evolution.Downloads
