Reglamento sucesorio europeo y actividad notarial
Resumen
Resumen: El Reglamento sucesorio europeo 650/2012 de 12 julio 2012 recoge un conjunto de soluciones vanguardistas que ayudan a la construcción del espacio judicial europeo. En dicho contexto,el Reglamento potencia el papel de los notarios desde diferentes puntos de vista. La libre circulación europea de los testamentos y demás documentos públicos sucesorios autorizados por los notarios, la elección por el causante de la Ley aplicable a su sucesión mortis causa, el principio de la libre elección de notario, y el certificado sucesorio europeo son sólo algunos ejemplos de la confianza que el Reglamento sucesorio europeo deposita en los notarios.

Abstract: The European Succession Regulation 650/2012 of July 12, 2012 includes a set of advanced solutions that help to build the European judicial area. In this context, the European Succession Regulation enhances the role of notaries from different points of view. European free movement of wills and other public documents issued by notaries, the choice of law made by the deceased person, the principle of free choice of notary, and the European Certificate of Succession are just some examples of the growing confidence that the European Succession Regulation has in notaries.
