Author Guidelines
1-Content and periodicity. In “Cuadernos de Derecho Transnacional”, CDT, is a review which publishes research papers on private international law, uniform law and comparative private law biannually (March and October)
2-Originality and language. The works must be unpublished and they can be written in any of the main European languages. The editorial team expects all submissions to use gender-neutral language. Our journal requires reporting on whether the source data of the research takes gender into account, in order to allow the identification of possible differences.
3-Sending originals. The originals must be sent by e-mail to the Editorial Office (isabel.anton@uc3m.es) until January 15th for the March issue and until July 15th for the October issue.
4-Publication and sections. The publication of the works will be decided by the Directors of the Journal, with the participation of the Editorial Board and being advised by the Scientific Committee, based on an external, independent and anonymous evaluation. The work may be "accepted", "accepted with modifications" or "rejected". Depending on the nature of the work, it will be included in the "Studies" section or in the "Varia" section.
5-Formal aspects. The first page of the originals must include the title (in the language in which the work is written and also in English), author's name and academic affiliation. The abstract should include a summary in the language in which the paper is written (maximum 120 words) and keywords in the language in which the paper is written (from 3 to 5), as well as the summary and key words in English. After summaries and keywords in both languages, an index of the work will be included.
The main text of the paper should be written in Times New Roman, size 12 for the main text, and size 10 for the footnotes and for the summary. The main text must be structured into consecutively numbered paragraphs.
The Editorial Board will give priority to works that do not exceed 25,000 words. Only exceptionally will be published works whose extension exceeds 35,000 words.
The numbering of the epigraphs will follow the next numbered scheme:
I. ___________
1. __________
A) __________

Paragraphs will be numbered in Arabic numerals.
