Abstract

In the context of cross-border real estate, private international law is relevant due to the legal challenges that arise when a property is situated in two or more different states. Whether that property is contiguous or separate, whether it is for professional leasing or not, there are multiple cases and scenarios that can be encountered, and this paper aims to delineate some of them.
