CIAN-Revista de Historia de las Universidades

CIAN-Revista de Historia de las Universidades publishes research articles about the History of the University in any of its periods, as well as studies on current problems of universities. It was founded in 1998 and is disseminated digitally. It consists of two digital numbers per year. The journal is edited by the Figuerola Institute of History and Social Sciences of the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.

CIAN's contents are indexed in the ISOC database, the LATINDEX catalog, ERIH Plus, REDIB, Dialnet and analyzed in MIAR. Likewise, it is included in the magazine classifications CARHUS PLUS, ANVUR, DICE, RESH, IN-RECJ and CIRC. CIAN obtained Fecyt recognition in 2019. In 2020 also obtained the recognition of Emerging Sources Citation Index.
