Abstract
Analysis of the premiere in Cuba of Los siete contra Tebas, a piece of Antón Arrufat that was forbidden and out of the cuban scene during 40 years because of the political connotations that this work had in 1968 when it received the price José Antonio Ramos from the UNEAC. A comparative study of the scenic procedures of the performance directed by Albarto Sarraín and the literary and dramatic porpouses of the cuban version and the aeschylian original. Relationship between myth and performance; legend, greek theater and contemporary version.
