Author Guidelines

Instructions for publishing articles in Derechos y Libertades

Instructions for authors established following the norm AENOR UNE 50-133-94 (equivalent to ISO 215:1986) about Presentation of articles in periodic and serial publications and following the norm AENOR UNE 50-104-94 (equivalent to ISO 690: 1687) about Bibliographic references.

The maximum length of the articles, written in Times New Roman 12 and space 1,5, is 30 pages aprox. Books reviews maximum length should be 10 pages with 1,5 space. Also It has to be submitted an abstract of 10 lines with a maximum of 150 words and some keywords (5 max.) both in Spanish and English.

Originals will be submitted to an anonymous and external referee that could :

a) advise their publication b) not advise their publication c) propose some changes.

Derechos y Libertades will not consider the publication of articles which had been submitted to other reviews. An original should be submitted to Derechos y Libertades as a compromise that the manuscript will not be sent for any other publication while the time it is under Derechos y Libertades consideration for publishing. Originals will not be returned to their authors.

-Two copies of the articles should be submitted in Pc Word format to the Journal’s e-mails (fcojavier.ansuategui@uc3m.es;
derechosylibertades@uc3m.es). For facilitating the anonymity of the external referee, author’s details should be omitted in one of the copies. In a separated file, It should be included these details: author’s name, ORCID, University’s address, author’s e-mail address and a brief five-lines CV.

-Authors of the published articles will receive an issue of the review and a digital copy of their own article.

-Originals should be submitted in Spanish.

Derechos y Libertades recommends the use of inclusive language in the articles submitted for evaluation. Likewise, the journal will report on those articles that take gender into account in their source data.

Derechos y Libertades establishes the use of the following reference’s rules as a condition for accepting the articles:

In order to avoid the repetition of references is recommended the use of the
expression cit.. As for instance, (M. WEBER, “La política como vocación”, en Id., El político y el científico, cit.).

The articles must be sent following the editing rules of the following format:
