Notes: Ronald Dworkin on democracy and Judicial Review
Abstract
We have seen in the last few decades the growth of the so-called democratic or majoritarian objection that has challenge the democratic pedigree of the increasingly popular institution of judicial review. In this paper we summarize Dworkin’s conception of democracy as partnership democracy and the way in which judicial review fit in this more general conception.Downloads
