On the Foundations of the Right to Education in Open Societies

Abstract

Starting from a possible confusion between education and mere schooling, the text examines different layers of the educational process (literacy, instruction, and education), their scope and problems, offering a plausible account of the deep meaning of constitutional provisions in educational matters.
