Empatía (emoción política)
Resumen
El presente trabajo trata de presentar el estado de la cuestión en torno a la noción de empatía como herramienta de uso en el ámbito de la moral y la política. Se comenzará dando cuenta del motivo que desde comienzos del siglo XXI nos llevó a hablar de la empatía, mostrando los elementos a favor y en contra de la misma para su uso moral y el tipo de organización social que promueve. Tras haber mostrado que la empatía no es realmente una emoción sino un mecanismo de comunicación afectivo, se terminará con una pequeña evaluación final que pasa por (a) reconocer que aunque la norma común es adaptar la noción de empatía junto con nociones de justicia (como poniendo guante de seda a la argumentación racional), lo cierto es que los conceptos de la empatía suponen un mundo completamente diferente al que suelen utilizar nuestras concepciones de justicia y (b) que el proceso de empatía aunque puede comenzar de modo natural, necesita de un esfuerzo de afinamiento y educación.
