Comunicar la salud en un museo de la ciencia = Health communication in a science museum
Abstract
Resumen: Un museo de la ciencia puede resultar muy útil a la hora de comunicar temas relevantes dentro del campo de la salud. Además de los aspectos históricos interesantes, una buena utilización de los espacios museísticos puede ser empleada para fomentar una comunicación interactiva frente a una transmisión de conocimientos unidireccional, que resulta poco efectiva. Por otro lado, se puede conseguir despertar fomentar la curiosidad sobre temas actuales de salud, así como concienciar sobre aspectos desconocidos pero relevantes a nivel social.

Abstract: A science museum can be a very useful tool in order to communicate relevant topics related to health. Morover, besides interesting historical facts, a good use of the museum facilities can be employed to promote an interactive communication, as opposed to a unidirectional knowledge transmission, which often is not very effective. On the other hand, it is possible to generate curiosity about health issues, as well as making people aware about unknown but relevant aspects at social level.
