Author Guidelines

Instructions regarding manuscripts

The articles will be sent by email to the address: revista.reib@urjc.es

Contributions must be between 6,000 and 10,000 words (not characters) in length. The articles must be presented in Word format, Times New Roman font, size 13, single spaced (1.0) and with indentation in the first line of the paragraph.

The article can be presented in Spanish, Portuguese and English (the latter being an original text and not a translation).

The title of the article must be presented in both Spanish and English.

The article must be headed with the name of the author or authors and their institutional affiliation must appear in a footnote (for affiliation in a footnote, * will be used). The email address and Orcid Code of each author will also be included.

The key words (between 5 and 6) should be indicated, both in Spanish and in English.

The abstract of the work (in Spanish and English) will not exceed 200 words.

It is essential to present the summary with the order of the headings and subheadings. The introduction and conclusions should not be numbered.

The headings and subheadings will have the following scheme, with indentation of 0.5 and 1.0:

I._________ (in bold, size 13)

1.1. _______ (size 12)

1.1.1. _____ (size 12, in italics)

II._________(in bold, size 13)

2.1. ________(size 12)

2.1.1. _______(size 12, in italics)

Footnotes should be in New Times Roman 10 format, single spaced and justified.

 

General criteria for preparing book reviews:

Book reviews should be between 1,500 and 2,000 words in length (not including footnotes). Likewise, it will be necessary to send between five and seven lines with the author's data, stating their institutional membership and contact data. The writings must be presented in Word format, Times New Roman font, size 13, single spaced (1.0) and justified.

Bibliographic guidelines for authors follow the instructions of the Chicago 17th edition.

Books:

Last name, Author name. Title of the book in italics. Edition. Place of publication: Publisher, Year of publication.
