Críticas y contracríticas en torno a la Ley 54/2007 de 28 de diciembre, de adopción internacional: el ataque de los clones

Abstract

The Spanish Act on International Adoption (Ley 54/2007 of December 28, 2007) offers a brand new set of rules on international adoption in Spain. This new act has generated a deep, intense and very rich doctrinal debate. This paper deals with the impact of the Private International Law rules contained in Act 54/2007 in order to provide a suitable interpretation that allows a correct application of these rules. In the above mentioned perspective, this paper poses a complete analysis of the Conflict-Of-Law rules, jurisdiction rules and extraterritorial validity provisions of Act 54/2007 on international adoptions.
