Political Representation
Abstract
Political representation is a key concept of modern politics. The verb “to represent” means both “speaking in the name of someone” and “reflecting a certain reality”. In the political language, the first meaning concerns the theory of modern liberal government, while the second – if combined with the first – concerns democratic government as such.
