Keywords: surrogacy, theory, feminist, law, work, family

Abstract

The thesis on the economic implications of reproductive labor has been demonstrated by feminist theory in a sophisticated, overwhelming and clear ways. This thesis is accompanied by the total o partial problematization, with oscillations according to the receptions, of the assumption “entirely” of altruism and of the principle of solidarity applied to reproductive work. In this article I return to classic feminist theses to address this aspect of unpaid reproductive work related to human reproduction within the framework of Surrogacy using the Assisted Human Reproduction Technologies.
