The pricing of external academic practices in the light of the new changes introduced by RD-law 2/2023, March 16
Abstract
Through the RD-Law 2/2023 of March 16, the government established new regulations for university and vocational training students participating in non-labor internships within their various study programs. These students are incorporated, without distinction of compensation, into the General Social Security System with an obligation to contribute. This reform has not been without opposition from both educational institutions and companies. To comprehend the current situation, we analyze the trajectory of the issue, the key features of this contribution, and question the reasons behind the obligations imposed on educational institutions and companyies.
