Abstract

This article will discuss the key questions of the reform of The Inter-American System for Human Rights in order to know what political interests of each country or group of countries are about it, and what certain are some of their demands. It will be observed that while some of these demands are well founded, nothing will lead to a strengthening of the system, despite its shortcomings are recognized by all parties. No country is willing to compromise on their positions as long as they do not achieve their political goals, anything related to the defense of Human Rights.
