Abstract

This paper takes four approaches to the cases of sexual violence during the United Nations Stabilization Mission in Haiti (MINUSTAH), exploring, in addition, its relationship with the phenomenon of impunity. These approaches, from a human rights perspective, reveal aspects that tend to normalize this type of violence and complicate its prosecution, undermining the efforts of the international community to put an end to it.
