Abstract
Conflicts around the town of Numantia caused a serious crisis in Rome and had many consequences: political and social disruptions; literary manipulations and even, according to Hostilio Mancino, the breakdown of the Pax Deorum. In this article it is also analyzed a prophecy made in Clunia at the time of the fall of Numantia, which predicted that the prince and lord of all would arise of Hispania.Downloads
